Hume Capital is an investment management business which is wholly owned by its employees. Founded in 2007 by Nitin Parekh, he previously founded one of Asia's largest investment management companies, PMA Capital Management and was also Global Chief Investment Officer of Credit Suisse Private Bank.

We are a London based firm with a highly experienced and motivated team. As an independent asset management firm we are able to offer our staff incentives linked to achieving our client's investment objectives and business growth, including equity ownership. This truly aligns the interests of clients and employees.

Behind the name - Why Hume?

Will the sun rise tomorrow? The most basic of questions cannot be answered with certainty, only a high probability. David Hume (a Scottish philosopher, historian, economist, and essayist) demonstrated this. The same is true for investing. We believe investing money is a balance of probabilities, where only objective analysis and experience can deliver longterm returns.
