For our equity portfolios, Hume's investment managers pick
stocks on an unconstrained basis within the mandate and aims of a
fund. Typically, focused portfolios of 40-60 holdings are managed
with a view to achieving premium return for investors.
Hume's specialist equity mandates are run on a Global Equity,
Asian Equity and European Equity bases.
Hume European Opportunities Fund
The Fund aims to achieve longterm capital growth by investing in
a selection of European equities. The Fund invests in a focused
portfolio of 30-50 stocks and is unconstrained by country or sector
weights.
Hume Global Opportunities Fund
This Fund aims to achieve above average long-term capital growth
by investing in a best ideas portfolio of global equities. There is
also the flexibility to invest in a wide range of other asset
classes, including cash. The Fund invests in a focused portfolio of
40- 60 stocks and is unconstrained by country or sector
weights.
